Job Title: Bilingual Service Director
Location: Saint-Hélène-de-Bagot, QC, Canada
Salary: around $75,000 depending on experience
Opportunity to take charge of a central after-sales service to the performance and reputation of a well-established family business, growing in Quebec. You arrive in a season already underway: the role requires field leadership, rigorous execution, and multi-team coordination to deliver quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities — drive field execution and service performance
Supervise a team of about 30 people (customer service/technical advisors, parts, technicians, shop manager, coordinator, foreman) to ensure smooth and consistent service delivery.
Coordinate the preparation of new units, repairs, and deliveries to support operational commitments during peak periods.
Enforce existing procedures and ensure rigorous and uniform application, considering inter-site impacts.
Analyze KPIs and performance reports, then deploy concrete corrective actions to achieve productivity and quality objectives.
Control costs and manage parts inventory to maintain operational efficiency of the service.
Guide, train, mobilize, and develop staff, including field coaching and daily priority management.
Intervene in sensitive customer situations and step in as needed in critical positions to protect customer experience and operational continuity.
Profile sought — must-haves and expected leadership style
Proven experience in field supervision of after-sales service operations (workshop/garage, customer service, parts) with priority management and daily coordination.
Bilingualism in French/English required to communicate with English-speaking customers and manufacturers in the United States.
Mastery of KPI tracking, reading performance reports, and implementing results-oriented corrective actions.
Mechanical and operational understanding (e.g., RV, renovation, or light mechanical/inspection) allowing for pragmatic decision-making in the field.
Comfortable operating in a structured multi-site environment, with execution discipline and rigorous communication.
Mobilizing, respectful, and down-to-earth leadership, able to be challenged and maintain focus under pressure.
Judgment, patience, and adaptability to manage a seasonal context and changing priorities.

Closure during the Christmas period and possibility of unemployment in winter.
